Red Desert utilizes a technology developed by Clean Runner and proven to be both reliable and effective. It is a unique proprietary process, called PetroCleanse, which employs a combination of technologies to effectively and economically clean produced water from oil and natural gas drilling operations. This technology offers a low cost, non-polluting, chemical-free method for recovering 90% of the water for re-use.
The facility is fully automated, computer controlled, and can be remotely accessed. Our technologies can be configured to meet any customer requirement or regulatory standard, and will clean vast quantities of water for multiple re-use applications. These include direct land (irrigation), agricultural flora and fauna, and/or potable uses. The Reverse Osmosis (RO) unit uses Activated carbon filters to remove any residual organics. The system was originally designed for sea water desalinization, and completes the water reclamation process by removing the remaining Total Dissolved Solids (Salts) out of the water.
